Simple Things Fermentations - Saison Motueka | Saison

A classic farmhouse-style Saison brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat and spelt. Plenty of whole cone Celeia hops go into the kettle and we generously dry hop with Motueka, a Saaz descendant grown in New Zealand that works spectacularly well in this beer. Crisp, clean, sweet and fruity with big bubblegum flavours that develop and evolve into the constituent parts: citrus, banana and tropical fruit balanced with gentle pepper and clove spice. Light and easy drinking, full flavoured and beautifully balanced; hazy yellow gold with tight white foam lacing the glass. A modest kick of bitterness precedes a long, tingling, lusciously fruity finish. Saison meets IPA vibes.
