Northern Monk - Redmond's | Customer Collab Series

North of the Border with Redmond’s of Dennistoun, our latest Customer Collaboration, is a super juicy 6.6% IPA, brewed to celebrate their tenth birthday. Redmond’s were pretty set on using Cascade in a Hazy, so we’ve frontloaded the brew with a large Cascade whirlpool addition for its piney herbal nature to shine and then paired it back in the dry hop with a Strata and Idaho 7 addition for their large grapefruit character as well as the sweeter pineapple and citrus fruit notes. The result is a dank, golden, and hazy IPA, with flavours of pine, citrus, pineapple, and mango. Redmond’s is one of Glasgow’s best craft beer spots, with one of the best vinyl selections going. You can trawl the hundreds of vinyls they have, maybe request one while enjoying a pint of Northern Monk even further North.
