Cider & Music Pairing with Grant Hutchinson
March 1 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm£19
Cider- it’s a bit of a tricky word at the shop…
For us, we love them, and drink them regularly as we know how tasty and complex they can be. We also see there being a huge cross over in flavour profiles when compared to wild beers and lambics.
But to others, it’s a complete “no, no” as so many of us have been scared by the low quality ciders that have been pushed out by macro producers for so long.
We actually find it really interesting- to us, natural cider is in the same boat that craft beer was 10 years ago in the UK. Everyone associates it with sub standard producers, but in actuality, there are so many small independent producers who are making some of the best ciders in the world right here in the UK, but yet, it’s still a widely unknown to so many of us.
So, because of all of this, we are hosting a tasting with Glasgow’s newest cider distribution company, re:stalk.
Come join us as we talk all things cider on Sunday 1 March from 1-3 pm.
During this tasting you’ll get to try 5 different ciders from the UK and abroad that showcase a broad range of different flavour profiles, and brewing apples from different terroirs.
We will also have re:stalk founder, Grant Hutchison, playing an array of music to pair sweet melodies with damn tasty ciders.
Tickets will without a doubt fly out the door, so don’t wait on this one!
