Whilst we?re primarily known for our pale and hoppy output, there?s nothing we love more than occasionally dipping our toes into the dark side of things and embracing a stout to keep our brewers happy. In a world awash with crazy adjunct-riddled pastry and dessert stouts, we decided to bring everything back to basics and go all out on a style we ourselves loved in our formative years of drinking beer ? the Russian Imperial Stout.
No messing around on this one; a tickling of Ekuanot during the boil and then again at flameout give the beer a decent amount of bitterness, but we?ve let the malt firmly do the talking with this beer. Roasted coffee, dark fruits, and chocolate are bursting from this stout that Catherine the Great herself would have been proud of. Just as it says on the can; no nonsense.
