We couldn't invite the Bissel Brothers over to Leeds and not brew a big IPA. The grist is 15% made up of wheat and oats, enough to smooth out the mouthfeel without being to cloying at the higher ABV. As for the hops, we had recently taken delivery of Nelson Sauvin into our coldroom for pretty much the first time in the 3 years of Northern Monk - this was our opportunity to put them to use. Backed up by smaller portions of Galaxy and Citra, expect big flavours of gooseberry and passion fruit with underlying peach and mango notes
