Glasgow Craft Beer Bar: the best places to drink craft beer

When we first opened our doors back in 2016, the craft beer scene was still very much in it's infancy stages. Our main aim was to sell great beer, a great pint in our mini bar. Based near Glasgow City Centre our wee Glasgow pub sells everything from pale ale, real ale to wheat beer, whatever your flavour or abv. We also sell wine, cider and spirits a perfect addition to damn good beer.

There were a couple of amazing venues opened that sold craft beer such as Hippo Beers (RIP to the OG), and Drygate, but as a whole, the city still lacked in a number of craft beer venues.

Leap forward a handful of years, and the craft beer scene in Glasgow is now bursting with high quality breweries, beer bars, and craft beer shops.

At Grunting Growler we get our beers direct from the local brewery and craft brewery. Our aim is to stock your favourite beer and a multitude of beer to suit beer lovers alike. We love to tell you about our guest beers. We like to rotate our draught beer. You can even fill up your growler bottle from the keg to maximise the freshness of your beer.

Koelschip Yard

Koelschip Yard is one of the premier Craft Beer bars in Glasgow City. While they serve all different types of craft beer, their specialty is Lambic Beers . These sour craft beers are a thing of beauty. If you haven't tried sour beers before, then you can learn more about them here .

Inn Deep

Inn Deep has been selling great craft beer in Glasgow for a very long time now. I'm not sure exactly how long, but it feels like forever! If you want a super-wide range of craft beers with 19 guest kegs lines, 3 guest casks and over 100 bottled beers. Plus, you can drink beer alfresco on the river kelvin, and there's always loads of dogs kicking about! Perfect for any beer enthusiast.

Good Spirits Co . Wine and Beer

Good Spirits Co started off as a spirit focused company, but they quickly cemented themselves as a great craft beer shop in Glasgow. They have an ever-rotating selection of craft beers to take home. So if you find yourself in the city centre looking for quality craft beers served by great people, then give them a shout.

Overtone Brewing

Overtone Brewing are one of the newcomers to the Glasgow Brewing scene, and boy, oh boy, have they taken the Glasgow Craft Beer scene by storm! While there are many great Glasgow craft breweries, Overtone Brewing are easily one of my favourites. We think that Overtone Brewing are not only making the best craft beers in Glasgow, but also making some of the best Craft beers throughout the UK. They specialise in making New England Style IPA. Wee Beer Shop, Glasgow

Wee Beer Shop is selling some great craft brews within the Southside of Glasgow. They sell an amazing variety of craft beers ranging from IPA , Sour Craft beers , Dark Beers , Stout and everything else in between.

If you're looking for classic German lagers , then look no further. West on the Green is selling German-inspired craft beer in Glasgow. You can enjoy Craft beer on Glasgow Green while drinking some great german lager.
