Medwyn Cellars - Bowerkin | Cider

First release from a brand new Scottish cider producer Medwyn Cellars of West Linton. Cider maker Ravi rehydrated apple scrattings from his 2022 cider, fermenting and then resting it on the lees for a year. In 2023, Bacchus grape skins from the biodynamic Hamstreet Vineyard in Kent were added to the 2022 cider, letting it macerate for a month before transferring it to a tank to continue aging. Following the first maceration, the ciderkin was placed on the grape skins for two months. Finally, a handful of locally foraged elderflower was added. Bottled in June and conditioned with fresh apple juice.
