Emmeline Pankhurst and her family lived on Nelson Street between 1898 and 1907. The first meeting of the movement that became known as the suffragettes took place in the parlour of this house on the 10th of October 1903. Mashed in at a high temperature to preserve body and loaded with extra pale malt, light Munich, flaked wheat, malted oats and a touch of cara gold which all boost the mouthfeel and softness of this beer. Generously dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, you’ll find heaps of lemon and orange, a gooseberry and white whine zip as well as hints of mango, white pepper and floral delicacy.
