Northern Monk - Wasted Christmas

Imperial stout brewed with mince pies intercepted by The Real Junk Food Project, which would otherwise be destined for the landfill. The mince pie filling lends its warmly spiced dried fruit character, crystal malts and rolled oats give it a satisfying pastry stout mouthfeel, while chocolate and brown malts give it a dark ruby colour and flavours of warm toast and silky smooth chocolate pinched from the Christmas tree.
