Holy Goat - Crimson Veil | Flanders Red

Flanders Red with rooibos tea and damson plum Brewed in collaboration with our pals at Otherworld Brewery, this Flanders Red inspired sour beer is a blended sour red ale combining 80% provision strength ‘young’ stock beer brewed with a rooibos tea and aged in a stainless steel for six months. A portion of around 20% ‘mature’ stock beer was aged in neutral whisky casks for an average of one year. This blend was then refermented and conditioned on 100g/l damson plums and rhubarb juice. The resulting beer has a complex and fragrant fruit character, with notes of stewed berries, plums, pineapple and a mix of balsamic and citrus acidity. Drink young or age, this will get weirder.
