Ideal Day Family Brewery - A Place Of Our Own | Stout

The coolship is doing wonderful things, or maybe the stout is, or we are, it's hard to tell. This is our third beer using our homemade coolship, and there's a correlation forming between the beers. An underlying, fruit-forward note, hard to define that keeps cropping up. We use historic British brewing techniques, and heritage floor-malted barley, raw regenerative YQ wheat and single farm UK hops. There is a smooth, gentle roast, caramelised fig jam sweetness, biscuity moreishness and underneath all that ethereal fruity character that we think comes from whatever magic is occurring in the coolship.
