Inspired by our successful heritage barley helles beers, and as a brewery focused on lagers, we wanted to make a beer that was deeply connected to our home. More than just capitalising on a place name, Lothian Lager is brewed using 100% East Lothian grown barley. After a year of testing, we are confident this is some of the best malt we have ever used, and are proud to be the first brewery to get it. This beer prioritizes malt, resulting in a crisp, vibrant, and grassy profile. The hops are carefully balanced and subtle, allowing the malt's character to shine. Super clean, super refreshing.
