Wander Beyond - Cellar Series: Old King Cascade

We carefully selected four beers from our cellar-ageing programme to release this winter. Each beer has developed in it’s own unique way over the extended maturation period. Old King Cascade was originally brewed to a classic barley wine recipe. Sweet and malty with a subtle low carbonation, this beer bursts with notes of dates and dark fruits. Time has allowed this vintage beer to develop an even greater balance. Old King Cascade was originally brewed to a classic barley wine recipe. Time has allowed this vintage beer to develop an even greater balance.Brewed in collaboration with the Beers Without Beards group which aims to create safe spaces for women and non-binary folk to enjoy and learn about beers. Together we brewed an IPA for their annual Women in Beer Festival (WiB Fest) to raise awareness of diversity and inclusivity issues in the beer industry BarthHaas X proudly supports the Women in Beer festival.
